This hotel is ideally situated close to the cathedral and within walking distance of all the main sites. Our room was small but very comfortable and the bathroom was huge! The complimentary bottle of water had unfortunately been opened and filled with tap water and so had one of the other bottles in the fridge. The hotel immediately changed these for us - hopefully the previous occupant was the person responsible, but housekeeping should have picked up on this. Included in the room rate were complimentary drinks in the Casino, which we decided to try. Good fun and we made enough profit to pay for the somewhat expensive tapas meal we had had in the hotel restaurant that morning (see separate review).

Rincon de Pepe could not have a better location, it is right in the centre of the old town of Murcia, 2 minutes walk from the Cathedral and the main streets / squares. There is a nice bar in the hotel "Muralla Bar" which does lovely cocktails, and the walls are the original Arab city walls of Murcia. There is also a casino in the hotel. The hotel itself is really clean and nice, our room was spacious even with an extra bed as there were 3 of us. My only suggested improvement would be to put another mirror on the bedroom wall, as the only mirror was in the bathroom. There is secure underground car parking in a building next door to the hotel. The staff were very friendly & helpful. I didn't try the restaurant (there was too much choice outside). I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying there again when I go back to Murcia.

Had a two night break in Murcia, wanted to relax, eat and drink.... this hotel is just right, comfy rooms and everything you need around you, shops, and every ten paces a bar, restaurant, or tappas place..
forget breakfast in the hotel you can get toast and coffee in the cafe on the corner for 2 euros. .. downstairs there is a lovely bar with good music, drinks were expensive and short measures! but that didnt stop us having a few there! ( 6.50 for a spirit and 3 euros a glass of beer ) but it was a nice surrounding and convienient. .. the staff were helpful and the hotel had parking nearby for 15 euros a day ( its in the centre so to get to the hotel was a little diffieult and parking impossible )

We stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of a business colleague. It was a lovely hotel, professional staff and with lots of faciities. It has a great bar in the cellar which gets really crowded (in a good way) and has a great atmosphere.

The hotel is central to the city centre, and is only a stones throw away from the Cathedral and square. There are several great restaurants down the side street of the hotel which are well worth a try,
