I have stayed at this hotel literally 50 times (or more) on business over the past ten plus years, and for certain, the hotel is very clean and you will get a decent night's sleep. But the management continues to cut back on every amenity imaginable, to the point where the soap and shampoos are vile...just bring your own. Also, make sure NEVER to accept any room over or near the banquet hall, as loud parties (especially on weekends) will keep you up all night! As hotels go in downtown Murcia, the Amistad is decent, across from El Corte de Ingles (a great department store) and not far by foot from restaurants and the middle of the city!
Room Tip: Do NOT accept any room near the area of the banquet hall!
