Location of this hotel is absolutely brilliant, almost literally in the middle of everything.

Room was lovely and breakfast excellent. We didn't eat in the hotel as there are a number of superb places to eat very close by - recommend La Mejillonera about 50m from hotel on Calle Mayor for fantastic mussels.
Also nice to sit and have an evening drink down by the harbour but do not recommend the floating restaurant which we thought was poor food but expensive.

One thing to watch out for if you arrive by car - the car park is accessed in an elevator! You drive into a very tight space and get taken down 3 or 4 floors to the car park. On arrival though just drive up to the door of the hotel and once you have checked in they will let you take the car into the lift.

Overall this was a great base for our 3 day stay and would recommend most highly.

NH Cartagena is an excellent excellent hotel !!!

Clean, smart, very well located in the cental historic area of Cartagena.
Room was a bit bland but comftable
Staff were friendly and helpfull and spoke English which did seem to be a problen with other hotels in the area.
It was expensive at 130 euros a night plus 11 euros for breafast
i wasn't paying so was not too ocncerned

This was my third stay at the NH Hotel, and I would recommend it very highly. Comfy reception area, and very high quality rooms, including tea and coffee making facilities. Lovely clean bathrooms.

The hotel is ideally located for the town and the waterfront. And you get a lovely selection of toiletry freebies - one of the best of all the places I've stayed. I've also had a packet of smints on my pillow each time I've stayed there too - a small, but nice touch
