We went there for a romantic escape and it was perfect. Located right in the centre of Madrid with really lovely reception staff. The rooms and decor were stunning, a mix of modern and baroque design which were ideal to create that sexy city feel. We enjoyed the spa which was perfect on a Sunday morning followed by a delicious breakfast. As a lactose and wheat intolerant i often find it hard in Spain to travel and eat and here it was a similar case, no soy milk anywhere but I´ve got used to it. That would be my only complaint as it was really perfect.

We stayed here for 3 nights in October . The hotel itself is located on the busy Gran Via, however we had very little noise even though our room faced the main street. The hotel is a few minuites walk from the metro which is convenient for travelling to and from the airport. Our double room was very clean and comfortable and also had a huge bathroom. The marble staircase gives the hotel a very 'grand' feel to it. The roof top terrace was also a great place to relax after a days sight seeing around Madrid. We had breakfast included in the price which was very good. All staff seemed very pleasant. We would certainly choose to stay here again if we return to Madrid as you are within walking distance for all the tourist spots.

Stayed two nights in the Vincci Via on Friday 13th & Saturday 14th January 2012 with friends. We had 9th floor rooms overlooking the busy Gran Via but hardly noticed any traffic noise. Hotel has a Boutique feel and it's in a great spot - ideal for sightseers and theater goers alike. Close to the Metro but within 10 minutes walk of the Palace and several main Plaza areas (Major, Sol, Espana). Breakfast was included - with a nice selection of hot and cold food from which to choose, via the buffet style service. The rooms were very comfortable, nicely decorated and the bathrooms well appointed. Our return flight was not due until 9pm on the Sunday, so the Vincci Via's facility to store our luggage the entire day - leaving us free to explore the city further - was a huge plus point! Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

We decided to visit Madrid in December to watch the 'Cirque du Soleil' show which was taking place there. (An experience not to be missed). We booked the Vincci 66 hotel online and it looked like a very nice place in a good location. In actual fact, we were right. This hotel is very centrally located on the Gran Via. The major sites (Porta del Sol, Prado, Palace etc.) are reachable by foot - although they are not exactly round the corner. However, the main shops are definitely within walking distance, as well as a very good selection of places where to eat. The hotel itself is very tastefully done. It is an old building (with a magnificent marble staircase), which has been converted to a more contemporary design. The interiors are very clean and striking - tending towards a boutique hotel style. The rooms are very comfortable - fully equipped bathrooms, light mood switches, minibar, etc. Soundproofing is excellent. The breakfast is very abundant and varied - exceeding my expectations. The staff was immensely helpful - especially in a city where communicating in English is not to be taken for granted. The receptionists/concierge were all very helpful and fluent in English, and they helped us greatly to book places, find directions etc. Vincci 66 forms part of a chain of hotels with the same name. If all the hotels carry the same standard, then it is one hell of a good place to look forward to next time.
