The hotel achieves the standard one would expect, the rooms are smart and functional and just about big enough; but not bigger than one would expect. The standard of service is professional and polite but doesn't go the extra mile. The furnishings are smart and contemporary. The location is terrible unless you have business in Poblados or want to get to the airport in 15 minutes. Nothing to complain about but nothing to rave about either.

My husband and I stayed at the AC Feria for two nights. We wanted a hotel that was close to the airport. The metro ride is 15-20 minutes, plus a 10 minute walk through a quiet neighborhood. We did not find any restaurants/bars/shops walking distance from the hotel. The room was clean and modern but a little small. The bathroom walls are extremely thin. The price was great considering we stayed 2 weekend nights as the hotel caters to mostly business visitors. It is right off a freeway so I am sure it is convenient for those with cars. Not a great location for tourists visiting Madrid. It was perfect for us since we needed a quiet place near the airport.

As a business traveller I have tasted food in over 150 hotels. I can honestly say that the food in this hotel is among the best in its star rating. The dinner was presented beautifully and was very reasonably priced for the quality. The house red was a lovely Rioja, much better than many house wines I have had.

Service at dinner was attentive and considerate. Breakfast was a little lacking in that it was very limited choice, even for a continental buffet, and I couldn't find any milk for my tea ... but maybe that's an English thing.

The room was very comfortable and quiet, even though it was an outside room near the road. The shower was great and the decor was very stylish whilst still performing its function. My only gripe is that there wasn't an iron or ironing board in the room ... poor show from a business hotel.

The hotel is definitely out of the way for leisure visitors to Madrid but for the money was a great place to stay.
