I made a reservation at this hotel assuming it was every other airport hotel I had stayed while waiting for a flight. BIG MISTAKE. This hotel is located in an industrial area and not in walking distance to anything, not even a bus. There is no cafe nor other food service. Our room was uncomfortably warm and I went to the front desk to ask how to cool it off. I was told that there is no air conditioning except for the summer. The windows only open 3 inches so there was no relief there and when you did open them, you got the jet noise. A menu in the room says they serve meals from 8pm to 10pm every night. Since there were no other places to eat, we went down there only to be told that they did not serve on Sunday Menu does not say that. Employees were rude and unhelpful. A terrible experience. Never again

Where to begin! There is no public transport, despite the hotel saying 'a short 5 minute walk'. There is a city bus stop at least .5 mile down a busy stretch of highway, but the bus is heading the wrong way. So if you are heading to M, you must cross the overpass as well. Cab to airport or M will be at least 25 Eu. Nowhere to eat, no stores to walk to. Filthy, old threadbare carpeting, no hallway lighting outside room, filthy grout in bathroom, cramped room. Threadbare, holey, and STAINED furniture, mattress disgustingly filthy. Breakfast in the lobby barely edible. Agree with others- hwy Motel 6 for $19 in US would be 5-star compared to this place. Pre-paid 59 Eu/nt for 3 nts, and left after first night. They gave me 3k holiday inn pts for my troubles. shameful

Anyone who books here while sightseeing Madrid has not looked at a map! This is an airport hotel and that's it, so don't expect a decent location or amenities: they don't exist, but for a one night stay you can't complain at 60Euros.

Finding somewhere to eat is a challenge: I went to the hotel next door!

The only critisism: apart from the restaurant looking like a school dining room and no real bar, is that it's at least 15mns driving to some of the terminals and you really do need a sat-nav to negotiate possibly the world's most complicated motorway network around an airport I've seen, so leave plenty of time.

There was no wake up call, the room was cramped and the wall next to the bed was very dirty. We were only given one wash cloth for 2 people and had to ask for a second one. It is NOT close to the airport, nothing in the vicinity within walking distance and no shuttle to the airport. There is a Crown Plaza right across from it and I am sure much nicer at a much higher price. All Holiday Inn Express in the US have a good breakfast. This one had the same thing every day ~ no fresh fruit, only canned and the worse tasting yogurt I have every tasted.
