“Value for money but...”

Second time I am staying in this hotel. It is placed in a nice area, near Couzco Metro station (7-10min walking). My room has been descent, and clean.
Since I don't speak Spanish I would like to have one or two English speaking channels to watch.
The lack of a refrigerator though inside the room, at least to me has been a disadvantage.
The choices that you have during breakfast are more than satisfactory plus the politeness of the personnel have to considered plus to this hotel

“Adequate”

A very adequate hotel for business travel located close to UNWTO.
Check in was quite smooth but one has to make the entire payment for the stay during check-in and no proper receipt is provided.
I received a mail from them on my return but on replying to let me know of a shirt I had left behind there was no response.
Walking distance to a small shopping area on Calle Orense with El Cortes Englese Department store and others like H&M, Zara etc.

“GOOD LOCATION IS BEST ASSET”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2011

I stayed here because I was attending a conference at the Palacio de Congresos and it is within walking distance. The neighborhood is safe and there are two metro stations nearby.
The property is well kept, the rooms, althogh not particularly attractive, are clean and so are the bathrooms. But the personnel are not really very helpful or polite. They take ages to solve your requests and even then, the answer is sometimes "no" (we can't turn the air conditioning on, we don't have more clothes hangers, etc.).
I would reccomend this place to solo business travelers who have meetings at the Palacio de Congresos.

“If you didn't know it existed.. GO!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2011

I booked this hotel on a good deal I got during those days. Was hesitant at first because it is located in Cuzco, which is in the northern part of Urban Madrid, close to the Bernabeu Stadium. I always stay in the Center of the City but this time I decided to give this a try.

What a fantastic hotel!!! It is located in a very nice neighborhood, in a quiet street with hardly any traffic. The surroundings are beautiful and you can find grocery shops, restaurants, and much more. It is close to two metro stations: Tetuan (about a 6 min walk) and Cuzco (a 10 min walk, located in Paseo de la Castellana). A metro ride to the center should be between 15-20 min in any of the two lines (9 Tetuan or 10 Cuzco)

The hotel in itself was incredible. Flat screen TV, a king bed, very comfortable and clean, well lit rooms, free wifi, air conditioning and very efficient front desk staff. I even needed to print out my boarding pass for an upcoming flight and the receptionist gladly offered to do it for me.

Another good point is that it is not a big hotel. It has a medium sized restaurant, a nice small lobby and it is very quiet, very aparthotel like. So for those seeking a quiet stay, it is perfect.

If you like the area of La Castellana, Bernabeu, etc., definitely stay here, it is worth every penny. If you prefer the traditional Madrid circuit, I would recommend something closer to the center (Plaza del Sol).
