This hotel has the fortune of being well-located in the upper class Salamanca neighborhood, great proximity to the Prado, Fernan Gomez and other smaller museums, as well as the best shopping district in Madrid. The staff were friendly, albeit for a grizzly middle-aged woman who works the morning shift. The beds are new and comfortable, and extra pillows are provided, though the size of the room does not allow for much maneuvering if one is inclined to travel with sizable luggage. I did enjoy the spacious shower and good quality soap etc. If you are in Madrid with a car, I wouldn't advise using the hotels car park as it requires a series of 3-point turns to get below ground. Breakfast is not included in the rate, but the hotel is half a block away from a bustling food market where you can enjoy a coffee and decent portion of tortilla for around 3euros at Cafe Dani. If you time your visit to Madrid with the winter sales (Jan 7th-early Feb) you wont have to walk far, after a busy day of shopping! Over-all, the hotel is pretty good value for a 3-star!
