I stayed at this hotel despite the reviews, as I was doing business in the area and would be there for only one night. I decided I could put up with a less than stellar hotel for the night. There were no surprises on arrival to be honest. The check-in staff were very welcoming, friendly and courteous. The lobby of the hotel was perfectly acceptable. The room however is very dated and in need of updating and also showing lots of signs of wear and tear. The other major point is that this is a ghost town. The entire area seems to be a bit of a ghost estate, a relic of the spanish property boom. I did find one really good restaurant near the Las Tablas Metro stop. Restaurant Muus was great and I will write a full review when it is added. Having read the comments about the breakfast and learning that it would cost 9 euro I declined it, instead I ate a coffee and a pastry at my clients canteen for EUR 1.95. I'm sure there are other good deals in cafes in the area.
