A nnice little hotel across from the Prado museum and within easy walk of most of the attractions of central Madrid.

Our room was rather small but well laid out but it was all that we needed it to be.
Breakfasts were good and the staff were very helpful.
The room was rather cold - it being -6C outside and the adjustment on the heating did not seem to work. Other than this I would recommend staying here if you are in Madrid

I have stayed at this hotel twice now for overnight stay. Very nice hotel in good area. Rooms spacious and very nice. Very nice shower room, no bath. Breakfast very good and room service evening meal had plenty of choice. Very comfortable bed and I had a great nights sleep, which is not always the case on overnighters.

Our experience was all good. Great location, quiet room (effective double glazing as our room overlooked a major thoroughfare), a large room by capital city standards with every comfort we would have expected in a four * hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hotel has a very pleasant and reasonably priced bar alongside, again with very friendly staff. We loved our first visit to Madrid and hope to stay at this hotel again.

The only minor negative was the extortionate cost of breakfast (special offer price of €19.50 if pre-booked!) We went 30 yards down the road for a cafe con leche and a pain au chocolat for €2.50!

The main advantage of this hotel is its location, as other reviews have rightly reported here.

The room was that small that it was difficult to get around the bed without bumping into furniture. Also note that it appears that standard rooms do not have baths.

Although the reception staff was friendly in general, we notice that "security" staff did not always showed similar behaviour towards guests. For example, one night one of them did not even reply to our greeting and followed us all the way from the reception to the elevator in a less than polite manner.
