otherwise, just another standard, boring hotel that I stayed..

The hotel is huge, and is located some 20-25 minutes direct metro line from the city center (Plaza Espana, Callao etc). The breakfast is excellent, of course, the coffee sucks, but the bar is next door. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean. The TV should be flat screen and should offer wider range of TV channels from Europe, and rest of the World. Internet works well, shower is great but as in many other hotels, shampoo and shower gel are not very inspiring. If you arrive late in the evening there is a shop+restaurant just next door open until 1 AM. All in all, very good.

Stayed at this hotel as a recommendation from a colleague. Personally it suited me as the hotel is located 5 minutes walk from our office. I must say that this is a fine hotel, it is clean, the staff are pleasant and has the added bonus of a free shuttle service to the airport (10-15 minutes drive) that runs throughout the day and can be booked at reception. The breakfast at the hotel (€15) has a fine selection of food that will satisfy all tastes. There is also a cafe adjacent tto the reception that does light snacks Rooms are cleaned daily by friendly staff. It is a short walk to the nearest metro station, line 5, which has a direct 20 minute link to the city centre (€1 for a single trip). There are plenty of local shops, bars, cafe's and supermarkets directly outside the hotel.

I have stayed here 5 or 6 times whilst visiting madrid on business, as this is a shot walk into the office.

It's a very clean, functional hotel, there is also free wifi in the rooms and in the recption area/. The bedrooms are a little dated, some of the beds are not the best. The Breakfast in the bar is very limited and the buffet breakfast if not included in the room rate, is expensive for what it has to offer. There isn't much food or drink wise close to the office but you are only a short walk to the nearest metro station and 20 mins on the metro from some of the more interesting areas.

But on the whole it's an ok hotel if you need to stay in this area, the reception are all very polite, helpful and speak good English (if you need them to).
