Great suite hotel (equipped with microwave, sink, coffee maker), great for business and families. 5 min walk from Herrera Oria station that takes you downtown Madrid. But be aware, you need to switch lines and it takes around 40 min to get to Puerta del Sol/city centre . The Madrid metro is easy enough to navigate though, any savvy traveller should have no problem. Ok, back to the hotel. The staff are helpful and nice, spoke perfect English as one would expect of a business hotel. Wi-fi only free in the lobby but I had trouble logging on. No matter,there are computers for your use in the lobby, just like any Sheraton. The hotel is located 10 min from the airport in a residential neighborhood. The only nightlife you'll get is the locals walking their dogs. The breakfast buffet costs around 15 euros, it's alright. Not that you have much choice in terms of cafes there.

The Hotel is very far from Madrid.
The staff is completely unpleasant.
The outside terrass was closed for painting activities.. Such as the swimming pool for several different reasons and in fact no credible reason..
No apologize from the staff and no smile at all during our stay.
We were 5 persons in several rooms, and we all agreed we will never go back to this place.
Don't go there!

The modern hotel may be the perfect venue for the business traveler. The free airport shuttle was great although a better communication system would make it even better. The full size desk, kitchenette and dining table are a nice fit for the extra large rooms. However, flatware and silverware would make a lot of sense and soap and toiletries should be a given. The marble bathroom and the separate shower are wonderful and the spa is just great for the overworked businessman or woman. The somewhat dated furniture is still in good shape but may be in need of a touch up. While the available WiFi in the lobby was nonexistent the room WiFi was just fine with the exception of the price. 19 Euros a day for inroom WiFi may not be a fortune but is MORE THAN THE WESTIN PALACE, the now Starwood Luxury Collection sister property across town. And while we're here let's venture a thought: if Castillo Son Vida in Palma can offer FREE WiFi across the entire property so I guess can a BUSINESS HOTEL in a beautiful but nonetheless far from central location in Madrid. The restaurant and F&B staff were just great and the food quite interesting. The huge potential of the hotel is what got my attention. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful and definitely willing to go beyond the norm. Give them the right tools and they'll turn this newly minted Sheraton into one of Madrid's finest.

This hotel has very nice spacious rooms, with all you need. From coffee/ tea service to minibar. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here very much and will sure come back when we are in the nieghborhood. The price was excellent.
The shuttle from and to the airport works perfect, they even came back for us after our flight was delayed!
