Common areas and rooms are clean and nicely decorated but my room was quite cramped and got a lot of noise from the street, even with shutters and windows closed. The location is good, near to Gran Via metro but it is on the edge of a bar and party area so you can get quite lot of noise at night. Disappointing that they didn’t have an iron that I could use. Didn’t seem particularly good value for the money, I think you would be better off at Hostal Louis XV in rooms overlooking Calle Montera – they are quieter, less cramped and cheaper.

The hotel is very well located, near metro Gran Via in the centre of Madrid. However, the room we stayed in was in the 1st floor, beside the kitchen and the noises and the smells were very unpleasent, specially in the mornings. In addition, the room didn't have a view, very dark and a very small. The towels were a little rough but overall it was fairly clean. The worst was the attitude of the woman who waited the breakfast, who was very rude and impolite.
It has to be said that the rest of the staff were very diligent, specially Javier, the night concierge and the manager.

Modern, smart rooms and a great location make this an ideal place to stay for seeing the sights in Madrid. Free wifi throughout and very helpful staff.
