We booked our three day stay over the internet from NZ. No problems were encountered.
The location of the hotel was close to the main tourist attractions such as the Market, the Cathedral and the tourist bus route.
The outside appearance of the hotel was neat and tidy. The reception area was likewise spik and span.
The room we were allocated was adequate and was clean although the grout between the bathroom tiles was black.
The temperature control was not working or was it I needed a 10 year old to show me how it worked.
A real negative was that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. I like to make my own cuppa first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The dinning room closed at 1500hrs on two of the days we were there. So we couldn't even get a drink there.
The slamming of doors late at night was really a sleep disturber.
The plastic mattress cover was noisy enough to wake you up if you turned over during the night.
The receptionists were adequate with out having the wow factor.
If wanting a taxi to the airport order your own. You will save 10 euro. The actual fare on the taxi meter was 20 euro but we were charged 30 euro. I assume the hotel charged the extra 10 euro for their booking fee.
Would I stay at the Hotel again, probably not.
