For some reason, before I came, I was under the impression that the hotel had wi-fi. Did I read it somewhere? I can't remember. At any rate, it doesn't. Other than that, it was satisfactory for the price. It was clean, old-fashioned in a fairly attractive way, quiet and air conditioned. Don't expect a great deal of English from the staff, but one gets by. The bathroom was clean and functional, the beds standard comfort. However, I wish I had had more pillows, or larger ones. My only other complaint is that absolutely no guests were allowed up to the room, or at least that's what the sign said. I didn't try to break that rule, but it impacted on my social life, as I am not married or with family. Enough said? If you're looking for a reasonably priced, clean, functional, and rather stately stay, I wouldn't tell you not to go here. Oh, and it's also wonderfully situated. I overlooked a small, quiet side street, but I was a hop, skip and jump away from anything central.
