Stayed 2 nights at AC Cuczo in November.

Positive:
FREE MINIBAR which is refilled every day
Very good breakfast
Nice, spacious and modern room
Good location (business area,15m from Cuczo metro station, 15-20 minutes from the city centre and 40 minutes from the Airport)
Comfortable bed
Clean bathroom
Helpful staff

Negative:
No in-room safe
No ironing setup only payable laundry service
Only Spanish TV channels
Expensive and poor room service
Free wifi only in the lobby area, 12€ for a 24h card if using the internet in room

Althought we had to pay for some expected services I'd recommend this hotel.

We stayed for a week at the hotel, there are some very good things about this hotel, the breakfast, the rooms and the proximity to the metro and airport were all good. However the problems with Internet availability and lack of basic things like an iron and ironing board made staying here problematic....also the service was on the grumpy side, I know not that uncommon for Madrid but some of the staff was too surly for me. Additionally the prostitutes walking in and out of the hotel, and nude bars outside, while I'm sure doesn't sound too bad for some, I found the area to be a bit too sleazy and would have liked all that to be a bit less obvious. Also sleep wasn't so good, the street noise below is quite loud.

The AC Cuzco is a very stylish, well appointed hotel. Staff are friendly, rooms are spacious and the free minibar is a nice touch after a long day's work. However the hotel location is very noisy close to a main traffic square, the 60 channel tv only does Spanish tv and the wifi in my room didn't work on either iPhone nor iPad. The hotel is also quite far from the main city centre. So unless you are in Madrid for business, my recommendation would be to look for another (AC) hotel in the city.
