We had a pleasant experience at Hotel Liabeny. The location was great and there was plenty to do within walking distance - even the Puerta del Sol! The concierge were very helpful, although not entirely knowledgeable. At night, we could hear the cars on the street and people shouting but it comes with the location.

Because the decor is a bit dated, the hotel felt less clean although I'm sure it was fine. If you're looking for a modern hotel, this is not for you.

Very well located, clean. This is my first time there and I hope I had known about it before.

If you are driving, because it is in the small downtown streets, make sure that you have a detailed map of the surrounding area and the way the traffic goes.

The hotel, staff and service were great. Hotel is in the heart of Madrid - we could walk to all the sights - including the Prado and Reina Sofia. Extremely convenient location - plenty of shops nearby (2 huge Cortes Ingles) and many restaurants and quick food places. Hotel was very accomodating - we got there around 11 am and they let us check in early. We had a triple and the room size was quite comfortable.

The staff were extremely helpful and I stay was very good value for money. The location was excellent, close to all the art galleries, shopping and restaurants. Everything was within walking distance. The room I occupied was quiet at all times and was both spacious and comfortable. Car parking facilities, but expensive - 19EUR! There was no tea & coffee making facilities
