The reception is small but modern and it is only when confronted with the one lift and 20 teenagers ahead that one gets the idea why this is a 2 star. Best to get some excercise and head for the stairs. The room is adequate and clean but there is a sense of the 1930s about it and the ensuite being an afterthought. My room had a double door entry but the ensuite blocked the use of one of the doors. The room was quite small and to use the writing desk I need to sit on the end of the bed.The verander doors appeared to be on their last legs but the window shutters worked keeping much of the traffic noise below to a reasonable level. Best one could say about this hotel is that it has character but the price for a city centre hotel made it more than reasonable. The cost of the internet was quite high so I hopped over to the local Starbucks for a coffee and a free hour on the internet when needed.
