This hotel is an old convent renovated in a very interesting way where an effort was made to respect the old architecture of the building, at least in my non-expert opinion. Rooms are nice and quiet with comfortable beds (we slept great!), although a bit sterile-looking (maybe the convent theme?). The hotel restaurant serves very good food in a beautiful room. Although there are sitting lounges and a cafeteria open until midnight a real bar is missing for when the weather is unwelcoming outside. The service is good with the exception that they charge 5 euros/hour to use an iron & ironing board (!). Some hallways, for example between the reception and the restaurant, where extremely cold maybe in part because of the architecture of the building. The water in the swimming pool was also extremely cold. Otherwise it's a very nice hotel with a great location at the edge of the old town, less than 5 min away from the cathedral on foot.
