as part of a pilgrimmage tour of Portugal and Spain, we ended up at this hotel, May 24 and 25th. What a disaster. The floors are laid with laminate flooring so anyone with high heels above you will wake you up at odd hours of the night. The Airconditioning did not work. Our room was at the back where the ravine was and i was not about to open a window without a screen. I can do without mosquitoe bites. I must admit it was a clean room, as well as the bathroom, but the other disaster was our dinners and breakfasts. Our dinners were included as we were part of a group; one night we had 1 fish fillet, with salad. no tomatoes in the salad, and that was it. No rice, or potatoes. I felt sorry for the men. The crowning for this disasterous stay was the awful breakfast. Pound cake, with buns , cheese and ham. That's it. I was not impressed. Definitely they need to make some improvements. i also heard some problems with people trying to make long distance calls back to Canada, or calls not being forwarded to the rooms. also the lack of english spoken or understood to me was very unprofessional. One of the worst stays I've had. Spain has left a bad taste in my mouth.
