El hotel es excelente! Pase unos días maravillosos ya que cada rincón del hotel tiene bellos detalles y guarda mucha historia. El personal es muy amable y la comida es buenisima.

Lo mejor es que se tiene una vista increible y que se puede caminar por las calles que rodean la Iglesia de alfrente (que por Cierto es una de las Iglesias más Bellas que he . sobretodo Cuando la alumbran de noche)

I loved this Parador! The history of the building is so interesting, it is very beautiful and you cannot beat the location! It is right in the courtyard of the cathedral, right where the pilgrims all arrive. The restaurant downstairs is fantastic, A+! Rooms are small (typical of Europe) but clean, warm and well appointed. Make sure to ask for a room away from the bagpipe player (they should know what you mean) he is quite loud and persistent! Overall, the best choice you can make during a stay in Santiago!

A visit to Santiago was topped off by staying in the magnificent parador in the main square in Santiago. You feel as if transported to a time long gone with its old world splendour inside the hotel, and if you're lucky enough (as we were) to have a room looking out onto the main square and Cathedral then you're in for a real treat. I can see that there has been a lot said before but it really is utterly magnificent and worth the money, even the breakfast is among the best I've had. You can even have a tour of the hotel, which sadly we didn't have time for. One of the largest recommendations I'll ever give!

I have been to Santiago in the past and decided to splurge and stay here this time. We did not regret that decision.

The hotel is in the center of town, right where you want to be. Our room was good sized and consisted of a small entry way with a door to the bedroom and a door to the bathroom. The bathroom was small though. The counter with two sinks may have been better served to only have one sink and make it smaller to allow for more room. The water pressure in the shower was good (wish it was a walk in shower though rather than having to step in/out of a tub)

The room was quiet and the bed comfortable.

The staff was so friendly - during checkin, checkout, dining room.

The breakfast buffet, included in the price of the room, was wonderful! The only negative was that the dining room style didn't seem to match the rest of the hotel.
