“Fantastic hotel, great location for the beach”

My husand and I concluded our visit to Galicia by staying 2 nights in A Coruna. This hotel did not disappoint! We took a bus to A Coruna from Finisterre. The bus station is a bit of a distance from the hotel so I would recommend getting a public bus to the hotel. My husband and I wanted a bit of a challenge and we decided to walk as we didn't have much luggage and it took us approx 45 mins.

The location of the hotel is around the corner from the beach which was fanastic as it was great to walk along the promenade while taking in the gorgeous views. It is walking distance from the old town approx 15 mins. We don't mid walking on our holidays so we walked to the Museum of the Body which was about 20 mins away and then to the tower. There are public buses you can take to the tower and pretty much anywhere else you want to go. There was a trolley that use to go along the perimeter of the tourist parts of the city but is no longer in use (something to do with the lines needing to be repaired).

For those who are football fans the hotel is also located walking distance from the stadium. (approx 15 mins)

The room was air conditioned and very nicely decorated in modern sleek fashion. It has a nice entrance hallway which makes your room feel very big. There is a very generously sized flat screen television, lovely closet with safe and ultra comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had really nice fluffy towels.

We did not have breakfast at the hotel as it was not included, instead we walked to the cafes located off the plaza behind the hotel.

Overall I was very happy with my stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others. I would definitely stay again if I were to return to A Coruna.

“Clean, easy, and affordable!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

We booked this hotel because of it's location as we had a car and it was easy to find (there are signposts up for the hotel as you drive into the city). They offer parking, at an extra charge. The hotel was very close to the beach, yet not far from the old town which has some great restaurants. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable and we slept really well. They had free wifi but it was very slow! We didn't try the breakfast.

“We loved La Coruña”

The Zenit Coruña was good , great centre location. The Buffet breakfast was fine. Make sure you're down before 10.00 or all the bacon and eggs will be all gone. The rooms were very clean, if a wee bit small. The hotel staff were very helpful. La Coruña is a lovely city.We loved its beaches, old buildings, culture and character. The people were so nice - I spoke some Spanish which helped. When exploring, take the lovely walk along the promenade to the Hercules Tower. We ate out at the Marina, great food. If you're coming by train, then take the bus into the city centre, it cost only €1.15. We're going back next year. PS my wife loved the shops y yo tambien !

“Cheap and clean central hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2011

I stayed for a few days in this hotel during my business trip. The rooms were a bit small but very clean and modern. Location is unbeatable, right at the main square, close to a taxi stop, to the promenade, and to shops and restaurants. Free internet was provided, and lovely service. Great value for the money! If you have a Zenit card (obtainable for free on their website), you can get a discount on the rate. The breakfast was average, better to have one in some cafe outside. Can get a bit noisy in the early morning.
