Our room and bathroom was nice size but needed remodeling. The room was a bit noisy (you could hear the people walking in the floor above) and the air conditioning did not work very well. because it had wooden floors. The bathroom was nice size but had broken tiles and needed a bit of sprucing up. the location of the hotel was good but the access was terrible because they were remodeling the entrance. Parking was expensive. The hotel staff busy and not very attentive except for the parking attendant who was wonderful and very helpful. He even gave us directions to a great small seafood restaurant nearby. We did not get the breakfast buffet, but there are nearby places to get a decent breakfast at a much better price.

We stayed at Melia Maria Pita for 2 nights. It is located cross the beach. Our rooms had an awesome ocean view. The staff was very friendly, check in was easy. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only thing it did not work very well was the air conditioning. It barely released some air and the staff told us that there was no way to turn the air cooler. We had to keep the windows open, the first night was OK, no noise but the second night I could hear people shouting until very late. They had an awesome breakfast buffet which was included in the hotel rate. We paid very decent price for this type of hotel. We will definitely go back!

A perfectly acceptable hotel on the Orzan beach of La Coruna. Nice rooms and lovely bathroom, but all a bit stark. For the price they charge there should be some spa facilities or swimming pool. Very limited underground parking and very expensive - €15 a night ! Breakfast is a real high spot though - the best selection of Spanish and English breakfast food we saw all week.

The room was of a good standard. It was directly above the hotel entrance but was quiet and had an amazing view of La Coruna's beach. The beds were comfortable and the room was of a good size. Bathroom looked recently renovated good condition with two sinks, bidet, and a shower over a good sized bath. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Negatives: Wifi at 12 euros for 12hours access in this day and age is ridiculous! There is also a lack of facilities - no pool, no gym, and no coffee shop/bar. It just doesn't seem to have the facilities that you would expect from a four star hotel (although this is quite usual in four staff hotels in Spain).
