Stayed there for a conference and it was nicely located with view to the Mediterranean sea. Ask for newly renovated rooms. Attention Internet is not included. You can get vouchers for free internet access in the lobby only for 30 minutes per day. The rooms are clean, quite big only the beds a very hard for my taste. Can recommend the hotel for a trip to the lovely City of Tarragona.

This hotel is next to all of Tarragona's major historic sites. We enjoyed the clean, well-maintained balcony room that faced the Mediterranean and the excavated Roman amphitheater at the shoreline next to the hotel. We did not check out the pool or the tennis courts. Our guidebook claimed free parking and free continental breakfast, but we were told the parking would be 8 euros, and we were billed 13 euros apiece for the large buffet breakfast (which was quite good) when we checked out. Still, paying only 65 euros for a room with such a fabulous view was a good deal. There's a beach right in town, and those up the coast are very nice - bring your swimsuit!

We wanted a hotel that was central to everything and got more of that than what I imagined. We had view of the ocean, the roman amphitheater and roman circus! But is the hotel seriously 4 stars...? I thought that's what I read. For 4 stars it was horrible, for 3 stars it was still just ok. the room was tiny and run down, and not in a romantic way, in a stained ugly carpet and non-working cheap patio doors -kind of way. Bed was like paper and plastic... felt like plastic, sounded like paper. pillows were hard. We don't need services from our hotels so much, but this time we needed extra pillows, and it took 3 calls to get the pillows.. no wait, we didn't ,we had to go get them.
before arriving to spain we stayed two nights in a four star hotel in Helsinki. Besides the many luxurious down pillows that were in the beds and closets, there was a pillow menu to order from... I guess 4 stars can be very different!
we stayed with our kids and thought that deluxe room was going to fit our needs, but it barely fit the baby cot.
we have traveled as pack packers in the past and are not complainers or needy, with kids we do hope for a bit more... but have stayed in 2 star places better than this.
I don't know what else tarragona has to offer, but this might be the best hotel what comes to it's location. No hotel is going to be at the beach in tarragona, you have to walk to a tunnel and go under the road and train tracks to hit the beach.
Old town on the other had was right there across the street, and we had the best time there, kids can walk freely since there aren't really any cars ever, and restaurants are in towns squares where we ate and our kids played with locals/local tourists
If this hotel would redecorate and change to some real beds, and down pillows.... with the location and views.... it would be great.
prices were cheaper than americans are used to, but then again the hotel in helsinki with the awesome beds and huge rooms was cheaper!!!

Room did not have remote for TV, no table or chairs on balcony and the air conditioning was not very efficient.
The hotel needs renovation and does not deserve a rating of 4 stars.
