Stayed for 10 nights and chose this Hotel as our usual Hotel was fully booked.
On arrival was greeted, placed into a small shaky lift and introduced to our "upgraded" triple room, which we found to be very small especially if you were hoping to share the experience with a third person. Room was clean and cleaned promptly every day at around 10.00am. Don't however expect to lie in after 2.45pm and expect an extended cleaning service as you will find that your room won't be serviced until the next day.
Breakfast was a self service affair, served in a claustrophobic mezzanine over the bar area and this got rather hot especially when the air conditioning wasn't switched on and when more than 10 people arrived for food. Also there was a staircase up to the mezzanine, so mobility could also be a problem for some patrons.
Service in the Bar Area was rather hit and miss and when we did decide to stop for refreshment always ordered and paid for the drinks at the same time, at the bar, in order to avoid those long delays.
The best part of the Hotel is it's location and the reception staff were always polite and helpful. Hotel doesn't have a pool, though the great beaches of Sitges are right across the road.

Nice position on the beach front, the rooms on the website at the front of the hotel with view appear OK, however the rooms at the back of the hotel are very small, dark and dreary.There is no Internet in the rooms, you have to sit in the bar downstairs to use a computer. The most uncomfortable aspect of this hotel is that it had a very strong sickening odour of insecticide . We noticed the public areas being sprayed several times a day, not sure why , possibly cockroaches. Breakfast was average but adequate.

I'm quite shocked by the negative reviews of this hotel. My mother and I stayed here last week and were more than satisfied. We stayed in the suite on the top floor, which had both a bathroom with a shower and a huge jacuzzi tub. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect - right on the beach, within walking distance of restaurants and museums. It isn't fancy, but it's clean and comfortable and includes a continental breakfast.

just back from a great week in sitges the only down side being the hotel celimar! the room was so small we had to move the bedside cabnets into the bathroom to move round it! we asked for another room but to no avail,we offered to pay for an upgrade ... you guessed it to no avail! we had no balcony only a small window! we found the hotel clean and staff friendly but will certainly not be back. it claims to be 3 star but i do not believe it for a minute. i have stayed in sitges many times and found even budget hotels like the el cid to be of a better standard.do not waste your money like we did book somewhere else....!
