The Galeon is such a great hotel. The breakfast buffet is out of this world. The rooms are nice, some more modern than others but all very comfortable. Afternoon tea was a nice addition.

This was our second time at this Hotel and wont be our last, great buffet breakfast which is available till 12 noon, all the usual English food, eggs, bacon, tomato etc. plus lots of cheeses, cakes,fruit etc.. The Hotel is only a short walk from the train station and 5 mins from the Beaches.This time we stayed in one of the superior rooms which are located in the Pavilion in the street behind the main Hotel.
Great Hotel but shop around for the best deals.

Simply put you just don't need any better hotel than the Galeon when staying in Sitges. We found the place on the tripadvisor web site and can confirm every word of the recommendations others have made about the hotel. Staff were fabulous, room size was outstanding, beds were excellent and the location central and an easy walk to good restaurants and shopping. As per "normal" anywhere in Europe parking was a bit of an issue but the hotel's lot is safe and handy. As others have mentioned the breakfast buffet was stunning with about ten times the selection you will find in other Spanish hotels. The Galeon is one of the best value hotels for the money that we have found in 10 trips to Europe. We just wish we could have stayed longer but we will "next time".
PS..check out the small furniture store right across the street from the hotel's front doors.
"OBLES YLL" has a beautful selection of furniture and in particular accessories ar very attractive prices. We hauled two items back to Canada with us and would have bought more if our suitcases allowed.
