A little underwhelming as it may be on arrival, with its narrow, side-street location, the staff at the Zenit will soon make you feel welcome. The manager was around when I got there, and kindly offered me a free upgrade, "but you'll have to pay next time!" he winked!
I got a very large, clean room with around 100 different lighting options and a good quality bathroom. I made use of the available Wifi (chargable) and had a good rest before heading off out to dinner at a fantastic Catalan restaurant called Hecha. Worth asking about if you're looking for some typical local cuisine.
The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the main attractions Lleida city centre has to offer, so although it is not plumb in the main action, it's in a useful location.
The breakfast was excellent - a good choice with bacon and eggs if you want them.
It's hard to find much to criticise. I do like a gym, but the facilities don't stretch to that here.
Overall, a good stay, and I would recommend it.
