Staff were very helpful helping us to find apartment on the phone. Keys etc were left for us, apartment was a good size for 2 people, bedroom is quite small with bathroom (and very small shower) through sliding door but kitchen/diner and lounge area is large. Balcony is nice but not enough room to sit on, juilette balcony.
30m from Les Rambles but quiet area so you're not disturbed...except by the builders next door who on the Friday and Saturday morning woke us at 8 am.
We saw no cleaners on the 5 days we stayed, not even to empty bins.
Staff in office were helpful when we left our bags with them for day.
Nice apartment, nice area, quiet except for builders next door on 2 mornings out of 5, nice staff in office. If you like to be left alone you get this here, if you like to see and speak to staff you will not find it.

Do not expect a hotel, this appartment is ideal if you like to travel individual and independent.
If you look forward to buy your food at the freshmarket and eat it on the (small) balcony, this can be your place.

Everything is provided: a safe, a dishwasher, soap for dishes, spunge, towels, a fridge, freezer, tv, sheets, pillows, microwave + grill, toilet paper, pots and pans, cooking devices, small (!) coffeemaker and a watercooker.

Everything you miss, you can buy (not too expensive) at the Carrefour supermarket 100 m. further on the Ramblas.

The appartment has everything in a short reach, underneath there is a bakery, a small supermarket, in the street you'll find a tabacco shop, a small supermarket opened til late, the Boqueria market for all the fresh food, the Ramblas is just a few steps away and so are the metrostops Catalunya and Liceu.

Arriving is not a problem, just go to the appartment (take the airport shuttle to Catalunya) and make a phonecall if you stand in front of the door to the concierge, they will tell you how to get in.

I found the appartment nice, modern and spacious, the shower was maybe small but worked excellent (good water pressure) and they changed our towels and sheets halfway in the week.
It is a great place to stay longer.

We did not feel unsafe at any moment, but we arrived mostly around midnight instead of in the early morning or completely drunk or so.
The Ramblas is a touristic area with pickpockets and other touristic rip-offs, just keep that in mind.
Sit on your balcony for half an hour the first day and watch the people passing by in the street. You will find out pretty soon how to look like a typical tourist.

- No contact at all with the persons behind this appartment, expect by phone on the day that we arrived. I had to give my creditcard details for bail, but nobody came to inspect the room or to tell me that everything was ok.

This place was in a great location right on La Ramblas and on first appearance look a very nice apartment.

Immediately we were a little thrown by the level of service at check in, you are expected to contact them to get check in details instead of them emailing you the instructions. Following this we soon found the toaster did not work and also there were no instructions/ password to access the wireless. We emailed the managers of the FGA asking for these instructions and letting them know about the toaster but did not receive a response.

On top of this we were attacked by bed bugs at this apartment. As if this was not bad enough when we notified the managers about the bed bugs we got an email response insinuating we were responsible for bringing the bed bugs in and how inconvenient it was going for them to disinfect and clean the room, we were expecting that this would happen each time a new guest came in.

They may been able to get rid of the bed bugs but the extremely poor service will not change so easy.

We have been in a family extended (grandparents,parents and youngster) vacation. Because of location and price we choose FGA Liceu apartments (we booked in Romania by email, but paid there). At the arrival in Barcelona we have the same incident(meeting with the owner) as mentioned in another message.
All the other reviewers remarked location, which is really great : 30 m to Rambla, close to Bouqeria market.
In general, the reviews in this site are correct, the only thing that seems to be peculiar to us been the housekeeper forgot passing by for the week we stayed there.
The best in our apartment was the dining room, but for an extended family this place was too small.
The good thing is that Barcelona doesn't let you stay literally in-house, and probably for a future trip here I would choose again a central, unpretentious location as FGA Liceu.
