One for hunderds of barcelonas youth hostels. A lot of young people, good friendly athmothphere. Sleeping wasn't to comfort. There was no lockers in a shover. I was sleeping in 8-beds room. It was stifling and when i've opened a window it becomes very noisy. Standart continental breakfasts. Hostel situated not far from railwaystation.

I went to Barcelona for 5 days with some friends in February. We paid ~30€ for 4 nights, and it was worth it. We (13 person) slept in a 14-bed room with one stranger (friend of the staff), but it's OK, it's a hostel! The staff was very nice, they showed us on the map everything we wanted, for example the cheapest bycicle-renting place, an authentic bar, etc. There was a 24h reception. The bathroom isn't a dream, but it isn't as bad, as it seems to be. There was only one little problem, the cleaner lady packed my towel (that I left in the bathroom) away, but it took only two minutes to get it back. BTW, it was my fault.

Generally I am satisfied with the hostel. We stayed 5 days in the cheapest rooms with 8 and 10 beds.
Quite clean, nice location, breakfast was Ok.
We payed from 9 to 12 EUR per night. For these money it was perfect. You can reach all main attractions walking. I would recommend it for groups of friends who come to see the city and don't plan to stay in the room too long.
The stuff was quite helpfull and polite. Internet 50 cents per 30 min.
Breakfast: jouse, koffe, tea, milk, crisps, toasts and magdalenas.
1 shower per 1 to 3 rooms.
Normal dorm experience. Do not expect any privacy and bring your ear plugs.
Some "2 bed" rooms have 2 floor beds. There are also better rooms on other floors "lux" but they are more expensive.
The Hostel is Ok if you spend only night there and not for a long stay.

I stayed at Rambla y Catalunya for 2 nights and honestly I'd never recomend this to anyone... The room was a nightmare: nothing at all, just one small bed (for 2) and the bathroom with the basics. No tv, no tables, no NOTHING! Try to imagine that you're grounded and you have nothing to do on your room! The solution is to go out and enjoy Barcelona! The staff do not exist and the reception is a funny tiny space. You cannot stay safe on the rooms because everyone can open the door so do not leave any bag without locking it! The breakfast is really a shame... kitchen super super dirty and the food... well... what food???? Nothing to eat unless some supermarket croissants and bread....
If you want to relax after getting around Barcelona, this is definatly not a place to sleep!!!
The location however was nice, very central... Not cheap and very expensive for what they have to offer.
