Just back from a 2 weeks with Steve and Maria in Paramount Places. Don't know if there are better hosts anywhere in Europe and if there are please point me in their direction.
I am learning Spanish and had the best craic with the Spanish driver from the airport who told me about car hire, places to eat and places to go. Steve met us on arrival and Maria had fetched our pre requested shopping (with a couple of extras which I'd totally forgotten about so cheers again Maria)
Hardly left the site as it has everything and the kids had a ball. Did make a trip shopping in Vilanova (Las Ramblas) and Everyone must take a beach trip to Sitges...beautiful)
Steve took us out a couple of times for meals and I can;t thank him enough for everything...Will we be going back next year....already booked my friends!!!

What can I say about Paramount Places................ It was an excellent vacation from start to finish.
As a family of 6 with 4 children finding suitable accomodation with a room in which we could all stay together was a nightmare and would have cost a small fortune for adjoining rooms in most properties. Bearing all this in mind we decided to try the mobile home abroad option for the first time and I'm so happy we did !!

We arrived at the Airport to be greeted by Nigel, everyone was a bit tired from travelling early morning but he quickly brightened the mood the mood on the bus telling a few jokes and giving us some information about the resort and its facilities. Steve and Maria greeted us off the bus as we arrived at the site and showed us to our mobile, first thing I noticed was the spacious decking around it, we spent a lot of our meal times and free time out here as teh week went on. Inside was clean and cool (courtesy of Steve and Maria having our air-con on for our arrival, it was bliss, thanks you two). Plenty of room for everyone, with clean comfortable beds, a kitchen equipped with everything we needed for every meal time and having the toilet and shower room separate was a big bonus..........being able to have a wash without one of the little monsters knocking on the door for the loo was a definate plus side for me!

The facilities onsite were great, from the bar and restaurant to the pools and kids club to mention but a few of them, they were all great. The kids particularly enjoyed the nighhtly entertainment and disco, something we all could enjoy as a family and have fun. Equally enjoyed were the "street nights" as I came to call them, where Steve and Maria got everyone together for a bit of entertainment provided by Frank (amazing singer and guitarist) who is a Paramount Places regular!! He was on his 4th holiday with Paramount this year and they plan an even longer stay next year as do we.

Overall Paramount Places and Villanova Park ticked all the boxes for me and my family. There was always something for everyone going on, wheter it was "street nights", trips out, caberet, having fun by the pool or just chilling on the deck, from my experience no one from Tot's to Teens to OAP's would be let down. Our party was aged from 7 to 35 all with totally different ifeas of what a holiday should be and all of us enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Here's where I want to emphasise that as I said Villanova Park on a whole was fantastic!! Steve and Maria really did make the holiday for us........... the kidness, patience and time they had for all the kids. My son can be quite trying when he wants to be and had them tortured with his constant questions and always wanting to be involved in what Steve and Maria were doing, but they handled him amazingly as they did with all the children staying at Paramount. The optional nights out that they organised helped people to get to know eachother, allowed all the adults and children to mix, make friends and enjoy the best spots in Villanova together. The free transport they provided whilst organisingthe evenings out was well appreciated and I wouldn't think that many other travel operators would provide this kind of service let alone free of charge, and we even had the benefit of their company and local knowledge which gave a lovely personal touch to the holiday.

There is so much more that I could say about my family's stay at Paramount Places but i would be here for days!! A big thanks is owed to Steve and Maria for our fantastic holiday, we cant wait to get back next year for an even better time. If you've never been to a holiday park before my advice would be GO FOR IT !!!

My friends and I have spent a week at Paramount Places and have had the bes time ever. We were very pleased with our accommodation which was very spacious with the beautiful large decking and ample parking space for the car which we hired kindly arranged by Steve at a very reasonable rate. The vans were lovely and clean and assistance provided by both Steve and Maria was much more than we expected such a kind personal service on a very friendly site. A BBQ was arranged for all the guests which was a great welcome into meeting and mixing with the other guests. Maria's Pasta was the best.
The vans were away from the main entertainment so there was no noise but close enough to all the amenities.
We would recommend Paramount Places to all and will definitely be going again next year

Just back from a 10 day break with Paradise Places and have to say we had a great holiday. We had read previous reviews on Trip Advisor and it was this that made us decide to book. We weren't disappointed! From start to finish the holiday was one of the most enjoyable I have ever been on. We went with our 4 young children ranging from 12 down to 3 which from a travelling perspective can be quite stressful! However booking with Paramount Places really is holidays in Spain made easy. For the first time at a campsite we didn't have a car and to be honest on this holiday we didn't need one. Paramount Places is owned by Steve and Maria and they made sure that we would have a stress free enjoyable holiday. On arriving at Barcelona airport Steve arranged for us to be picked up and taken directly to the mobile. This was done by Nigel and Hayley who assist Steve and Maria and cost 60 Euro - well worth the money when you have a very young family. Steve can also arrange trips to water parks (Aqua Leon) for a cost of 30 Euro - would definitely recommend this - kids had a ball! The mobile was spotlessly clean with aircon and the best decking you'll find on the site. Steve called over and straight away had invited us to a Kebab Night out which ended up with Steve volunteering to carry my son who has walking difficulties for approx a mile. I thought that this was very considerate bearing in mind that my son is 9 and walking that distance was not an easy thing to do. One night we heard a bit of a sing song and people were bringing their tables and chairs out onto the road and joining the crack - we did likewise and had a great night fuelled by Maria's home made Sangria - very nice!. It was always very evident that Steve and Maria main focus was to ensure that people staying at Paramount Places had a good time and that is exactly what we had. If you want to hire a car (we didn't) Steve can arrange it and get the car delivered and collected directly from your mobile. It really does remove a lot of the hassle you would otherwise have.With regard to the site itself - I've been to a few French campsites and thought that they were well kept but Villanova is the cleanest that I've been to. It is a large site with 2 pool areas both with toddlers pools. There is an indoor pool but there is a charge for the use of this. The restaurant can be pricey but they do a buffet at a very reasonable price consisting of 3 courses were you can eat all you want (cost for us was 55 Euro). The onsite supermarket is well stocked but again because it caters to a captive market the prices are above what you would pay outside but that the same on any campsite I've been to. A bus runs every 20 min to Villanova town which is not touristy but is worth the visit as is the town of Sitges which is more picturesque for the sight seers (accessible by train from Villanova - journey time approx 5 mins).
Getting back to Paramount Places10 days went in a flash. The weather was great, company even better and then it was time to go home. Nigel picked us up and took us straight to the front entrance of the airport - and that is one of the big plus factors for us was the lack of hassle, fly direct from Belfast to Barcelona, picked up and taken directly to the mobile and the same for the return leg. Travelling reduced to a minimum and you always feel that you are being well looked after while you are there. Thanks to Steve and Maria for a great stay and to Nigel and Hayley for all their assistance - will definitely be back!
