We stayed 3 nights at the Soho in Barcelona. It is very centrally located and in a safe and very pleasant neighborhood. We did not have any problem and walked to many restaurants, shops, etc. It is near the Barcelona University. You can walk to Plaza Catalunya, where there is a lot of activity going on. The hop on hop off bus leaves from there, there is a Corte Ingles Department store and many shops nearby, like book stores, etc. The Ramblas are nearby. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, modern design, but it is rather dark. The bathroom was specially dark, had no hair dryer and the bathtub only had a half glass that when you showered water came out to the floor. The staff was very helpful and polite. The breakfast buffet was really good. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. A goumet bakery just across the street and market right nest door to the hotel which was very convenient. Also, next to the market was Guidos restaurant that had good food and was inexpensive.
