We really enjoyed our four night stay here. A really good deal on Expedia made this place quite a good value. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The free wifi and 4 bottles of water per day were also nice. We also liked that we could walk to quite a few sites and the metro as well. I can't add much more than than what other positive reviewers here have already said. I would certainly come back here on my next visit.

My partner and I stayed here during a cheap weekend break in January. We got a really good price on the hotel and flight with it being the off season straight after Christmas and New Year.

The hotel is situated within walking distance of four different Metro stations, including Arc de Triomf, and isn't too far from Las Ramblas and Pl Catalunya.

On checking in we asked for a quiet room, only to find we'd been given one opposite the lift. In this room the electronic safe didn't work, and when we tried to call reception the phone wasn't working either. When we went back down, the receptionist tried to make out that it was hard for him to find another suitable room that was free, but he eventually gave us one right at the end of a corridor - nice and quiet! Unfortunately this room wasn't without a problem either, and when it was a little chilly on the second night we found that the heating wasn't working as the control unit on the wall was broken.

As you can see from the photos (and probably from the room problems) this hotel suffers from the same problem that many of the better hotels do - it was really nice when it was first opened (or last refurbished) but is now starting to fray a little at the edges.

On the plus side, however, the room was clean and a good size. And apart from the heating problem (a t-shirt solved it in the end) the quality of sleep was good. There's complimentary wi-fi and bottled water too.

The hotel is situated in a good area, in the heart of Barcelona, near the Zoo, Auditorium and “Del Nord” train and buses station. The nearest metro stations are Arc de Triomf, Tetuan, Marina and Monumental. At 15 minutes walking you will find La Sagrada Famillia or Barrio Gotico, Paseo de Gracia or Port Olimpic.
In the hotel are over 100 rooms. If you have sleep problem I recommend you to stay on the upper floors, because the hotel is in a crossroads. There is Wi-Fi, internet point, restaurant, café bar a fitness area and a pool.
What I recommend you is not to stay on the “corner rooms” because they are small.

The front desk personal is well prepared, they speak English and ready to give you details / indication if you need.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our stay in Barcelona. The prices were resonably cheap considering however the location was a bit far from the city.
I booked this hotel mainly for the closeness of it being to the bus station as we got the Barcelona bus from Girona Airport.
However the good points were that it was clean, good size and the bed was quite comfortable! Also you got 4 bottles of water compimentary every day which was great and free wifi internet which worked perfectly!
The negative was the location as it was a 30 min walk to the Ramblas, however its only a 10 min walk to the Sagrada Familie which was awesome!
The staff were helpful, we didnt get breakfast as we just got some fruit and crossants from the local shop down the road.
Also if you wanted to eat, avoid going near the La Rambla and stay closer to the hotel as we got a beer of Estrella Damn for only $1.70 each and in La Rambla was a whopping $6!
However, Barcelona is a beautiful city and would recommend this hotel if you want to stay close to the Sagrada Familie and bus station, Barcelona Nord.
