Very trendy, ultramodern hotel on a reasonably quiet street.
The hotel is firmly in the hospital and clinic region of Barcelona and one imagines that visitors and patients make up the bulk of the clientele.
The room was bright and clean with a good view up the mountain. The bathroom was so busy being trendy it lost a little usefulness (flat sink that drained very poorly - very awkward to shave in; shower head slowly traveled downwards during a shower; no bath).
The location is a drawback. There is a good bakery a block and a half away and a nice Tapas place (50 Pino) two blocks away - but otherwise choices for lunch and dinner are limited (the French restaurant 2 blocks away (St Remy) looks pricey and pretentious so we didn't try it).
The subway is about a ten minute walk (quite steeply uphill on the way back). The stop (Sarria) connects to the Placa de Catalonia in about 20 mins. We found this fine to go to the tourist centre in the day but a pain to go in for food in the evening.
In all a good hotel if you have reason to need to be in that area - but not for the average tourist.
