We stayed in Barcelona for almost a week on business but wanted a "special" place as a treat. The Bonic didn't disappoint: wonderful place in an old building with high ceiling, tastefully decorated and clean. It is also very quiet, yet a few minutes walk from La Rambla. What can I add that hasn't been said already in previous reviews? The friendly welcome, the glass of wine when we came back from a long day at the conference, the nice breakfast. Bliss.

Maybe, I should just mention that this B&B is hardly noticeable from the outside: no big signs, only a discreet sticker by the doorbell. Blink and you'd miss it! But clearly they do not need to advertise the place as they can, quite rightly, rely on word of mouth for the business.

My parents and I had a wonderful stay in Bonic. The hosts were so helpful, informed and bent over backwards to find activities and restaurants - and their advice was priceless, we were so impressed. Local knowledge can make a holiday! They could not have done more. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were extremely tidy and clean. A wonderful place to return to, in a great location, after a day full on sight seeing.

I pass through Barcelona quite often for a night or two, and this time I wanted somewhere near Barceloneta. I usually stay in 3 star hotels. This B&B was outstanding because in my expereince it is rare to get such good personal service and attention to detail in Spain.
My room was a single and had no windows, which I find I can only really deal with for a night or so. The rooms was simple but nicely laid out, with a towel on the bed and a bar of chocolate! It would be hot in summer, and had a fan in the room. There were shared bathrooms which were clean. The water dispenser next to the kitchen was much appreciated, as was the sitting room area, with the laptop.
The breakfast area and the friendliness of the management / staff - Natalie and Fernando were outstanding - truly unusually excellent hospitality for anywhere in Europe. I am in the travel buisness and stay in lots of different places, and this was a surprise. I would recommend this place for its friendliness and attention to detail more than anything.

We've just got back - literally; an hour ago - from three nights spent in Barcelona at one of the best, if not the best, B&B I've ever stayed at abroad. Used to live near the city, so this was a trip back to old haunts. Fernando, Richard and Natalie made it a chance to have wonderful new memories, too. We stayed in their beautiful apartment-style B&B during the colourful Dia de la Merce festival, and they couldn't have been more helpful; Fernando printed off maps for us each morning to show us where all the best events of the day were taking place, so we could make the most of our time and get the best of the festival's excitement. Breakfasts simple but excellent quality, decor stylish and v comfortable. Each night we got back into the room to find treats on our beds. They could not have been kinder and more attentive if they'd tried. All of this, at an amazing price. They gave us a priceless holiday.
