The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The single room was really quite small compared to other hotels I have stayed in within this price bracket. Unfortunately, the walls were paper thin and you can hear conversations in other rooms very clearly. The movement of a chair in the room above sounded like thunder!

I dont like to mark this down because you certainly felt welcome at the hotel and the environment feels pretty secure too. However, I think it is a three star stop.

Not far from the city center. 5-10 min walk to Metro. Hotel rooms cleaned every day. We had a double room. Our room was broad and bright. Rooms looking to street but there is no noice because double windows. There was a large and clean bathroom with double sink. Large LCD available in the room. But unfortunately all channels are in spanish. Minibar and safe are available. Safe box is not electronic and to use it, have to pay an extra fee. Throughout the hotel, there is free wireless internet, but it is not very good at the room, constantly interrupted. Breakfast 6 €, not very rich, but enough.

I recently stayed in this Hotel for 3 nights, and overall was not overly impressed.

I will start with the good points:

Location - brilliant. Plenty of shops & restaurants in the area. Short walk from the tour buses around the city (you can purchase your tickets from reception) and only a 10 / 15 minute walk from Nou Camp if you are there for the football.

The overal cleanliness of the Hotel was really good. Also, when we arrived my shower was broke, one phone call to Reception and it was fixed in a few hours.

The bad points:

The rooms were quite small and cramped.

When i arrived i was under the impression you could book excursions with reception. But the only excursion they offered where the sight seeing buses.

Breakfast at the hotel was 6euros were day, for a very basic breakfast. Just 10 meters from the hotel was a sandwich bar you could get a baguette, croissant and a coffee/ juice for only 2euros!! I would definently recomment exploring rather than settling for there breakfast. However, on the 1 morning i did have the breakfast at the hotel, it was pleasent and well stocked. Just a little basic.

The biggest problem i had with this hotel was the noise. I expected a little traffic noise as it is in a city. However, that wasn't a problem at all - even though my room was facing the main road. The biggest problem was the walls in the hotel being paper thin. There was noise from all rooms around you - which wasn't helped by very inconsiderate neighbours.
All day and night you could hear people talking on phones, alarm clocks, the tv, chairs scrapping across the tiles floors, doors slamming - which made the quality of sleep here very bad. On the 3 nights i was there, i would be suprised if i skept longer than 3/4 in 1 night.

If you are going for location only, and you're a heavy sleeper then this hotel is pleasent.

For this price you won't get much better. Exactly what you (..) would want in basics for a hotel: Clean everywhere, good bed in small but more than enough room (I think a hotel is mostly meant for sleeping, For the rest you want to work or visit the city you're in). 24 hrs Good entrance, I had my own computer which worked fine. If you want more than a very simple breakfast there are enough possibilities outside. Staff speaks english/spanish and some even other languages; Plus able to arrange car rental reservation, relaxed in/out checking.
