Small boutique hotel, price seems good with free wireless, 5 min to train/shopping location and airport bus shuttle. Very helpful frontdesk. Modern boutique room and you feel good and comfortable, even though is facing the road, is not that noisy. I happen to miss the shuttle bus at 7am and a taxi driver approach us and offer to give us a ride for the same price of the shuttle bus as he need to pick up pple in the airport. So if you are lucky they will approach you as they are going to airport to pick passengers. The security around the area looks fine as there is a resturant right beside the hotel so there is always crowd around there. I would highly recommend to stay this hotel for the location.

its my second time staying at the advance hotel .
i really like the location ,to those who dont like to be in the crowded area , its about 7 minute walk from the rambla & stiil you are far from the touristic busy area , with the local neighborhood coffee shop .
hotel breakfast are real real nice , the room are pleasant , so nice & clean .
the staff always very helpful , and was very kind.
i will retern....

I spent four days in this lovely hotel in early October. The rooms and lobby are modern, but the building dates from the late 19th/early 20th century. There are small balconies on the front rooms, and a glorious large shower shace. The airline I flew on lost my bag, and the front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful, calling every few hours over two days to see if they could get an update on its location.

Small hotel, five floors, rear windows to a large yard. Quiet room to the rear (in fall), summer may be different if people are sitting on their balconies...windows can be opened, but air condition is also available. Room and bathroom rather large, equipment ok.

Breakfast was basics but fresh and ok. Personnel at reception very friendly and supportive, also English and German speaking. As a whole a good starting point (Metro around the corner and Aerobus stop appr 200 meters from hotel) for excursions around Barcelona, but also ok for business purpose.
