“Excellent for the price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

Stayed here in January 2012, staff were friendly and helpful, were happy hold our bags before check in and to order taxi's for us. Great location very easy to walk from there to most places in Barcelona. Three of us shared a double room so we used the sofa bed which was good (as far as sofa beds go). The room is only really equipped for two people, two chairs, very small kitchen but we made it work and were very happy with the apartment as a whole. Taxi from airport was €34 and we needed two. There were seven of us in total so on the way back we ordered a big taxi, would have done this for our arrival had we known.

“No no no, if you want to sleep !”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2011

Cute rooms but no insonorisation at all. Bring your ears plugs if you go there. Nice location, 5 minutes walk from Barri Gothic and museums. Nice restaurants on the pedestrian street.

Room Tip: Rooms 401, 301 and 201 are the roomiest. 403, 303 and 203 the smallest, Avoid anything at the first...

“Very good if You Like Going It Alone.”

This complex is in an amazing location. The apartments are extremely modern clean and stylish. We did however have in issue with the fact that there was never anyone on staff when we were there.

We took the Airport bus to Plaza Cataluna and walked to the location. This part of Barcelona is not a super easy place to navigate on your own and we ran into a few issues with that. Once we arrive, The door to the building is locked and there is a sign posted that says to check in you have to go completely across town to another complex. This was a hassle but It was worth it.

The little pedestrian plaza is awesome. It has a few good places for tapas and drinks and there was a market on saturday. It is a very local area that you will rarely see tourists. Its also a short walk to the water and La Rambla.

“excellent location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2010

We took a taxi from the airport but got the bus back which was much cheaper. We found the location perfect and enjoyed the tapas, bars and cafes in this area. The studio was clean and had all the equipment we needed. It would have been perfect for two but we had our teenage daughter with us and space was limited when the bed settee was pulled out. The rooms aren't serviced, only rubbish removed and beds made. No clean towels in 7 days so you might want to take your own. We didn't find the room particularly noisy and you could shut the windows as the ac was good. Internet access was free and reception loaned my daughter a usb cable so she could use her laptop. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had no problem with pickpockets although we were very careful.

“Up and Downs”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2009

I quite enjoyed my stay at the apartments, it was a nice, clean place to relax after spending 8 days in various hostels in Madrid. It had a working a/c which was nice and a nice location. Super close to the Picasso Museum and little shops. I wouldn't call it a 'rough' area, most of Barcelona was pretty rough so you have to watch your bags but we never had a problem. Right next door was an Internet cafe that was very cheap, one hour for one euro, pretty good deal. I also enjoyed how the apartment allowed roof access, got some great street photos from up there.

A few downs however, glass bathroom door...not cool when your the only girl travelling with three guys (there was no lock on it either) And our toilet leaked water everywhere. It said the room slept four, but the pull out couch was only a single bed. It was fairly loud in the morning on the street, I could see how that would bother some people, but its not thaaat bad. And it was super hard to find, even with a map and directions from the lady that gave us the key to the place.
