it is right on the beach, which even in winter is awesome! so beautiful and really close to heaps of restaurants, bars, the Picasso museum and shops. the staff are really friendly an are willing to help out and give advice. we lucked out with an awesome dorm of 6 people who we became good mates with and hung out with. also the way the dorm is set out is rad. you get ur own cubicle with a powerpoint and a light and there is a huge locker for each person in the room. wee bit noisy but very bearable and so worth it. the free breakfast is SO good. muffins, toast, crackers, teas coffee hot chocolate fruit and cereal! my favourite hostel so far and I've been travelling for a month. definitely recommend it to anyone.

Literally steps away from the beach. If you've never been to a Barcelona beach be prepaired for haggling for everything under the sun. Rooms are cool and have private bathrooms which is awesome. Only stayed for 1 night but would have stayed more.

The sea point hostel is very nice located, directly at the beach of barcelona. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are ok with an integrated bathroom. To get some sleep it is probably not the best hostel. All dorms are conected to each other and you can here everyone talking and snore...

I stayed in two hostels on my trip to Barcelona and this one was a little disappointing. The location was nice right on the beach but it was a little bit of a hike from the centre of Barcelona by foot and was a decent 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station. The worst thing about this hostel was that the walls didn't go right up to the ceiling so you could hear everything from all the other rooms and vice versus so it was hard to get even a couple of hours sleep. While sleep isn't on most people's agendas while staying in a hostel it would be nice not to hear everyone's conversations. Breakfast was very simple, there wasn't even hot water for tea or coffee or bread. If you're staying in Barcelona I'd recommend to stay at Hostel Centric rather than this one. While they are run by the same chain, Hostel Centric was much better located and set out.
