Our plan was to stay at this apartment hotel for the first 5 days during our trip. We had been travelling for a little over 24 hours straight and were a bit anxious to see what we would get.

The phone number given to me by the agent had the name of a gentleman who was goign to meet us at the apartment to hand over the keyes for the week. He was easy to reach and spoke some English (however I am fluent in Spanish and we got along fine). He gave us directions on how to get there by cab and we had no prblems.

We stayed at the apartment in Pobleunou which is near to the meditterannean and had it's own RAMBLAS which were packed with restaurants, shops and grocery stores.

We got to the apartment which was very modern, fitted with a bedroom with a double bed and an Ikea dresser/closet. The bathrooms were clean and modern with anything that we might need down to the toothpaste. The apartment also had a kitchen which had pots, pans, spices and olive oil, we also found some teas and all the cutlery needed for the week. We were actually really amazed at how nice it was. There was also a backdoor which lead to a small room with no roof that housed the washing machine and a laundry line!

The old city was about a 1/2 hour walk away, but since we were there for the exploring it was perfect. Walking by the coast of the meditteranean in the morning was the best way to explore the city. But for those nights where we decided to explore the night life, an 8 euro cab ride from Port Vell was perfect!

Matias, our apartment guide was avaiable night and day if we had any problems with the apartment or even if we just wanted to know things about the city.

We couldn't have asked for more!
