B Hotel was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, with a great view of placa d'espanpya and excellent room features, The roof top pool looked amazing and we hope to return in the summer so we could enjoy that perk. Easy access to the metro - lovely taps bar close by and the arena had lots of shops and resturants to offer. Would highly recommend.

I stayed one night in B Hotel with my mother. It was my first time in Barcelona, so I did a lot of research online. My criteria was: proximity to the transportation (Metro is excellent in Barcelona, always use it), ease of reaching the airport without taking a taxi, neiubourhood, cleanliness, and price. Neddless to say that there are thousand good hotels in Barcelona, so do your research, but B Hotel was on top of my list. We were not disapointed, I can tell you. B Hotel is situated on situated opposite Plaza Espanya (which is almost the heart of the city), you have all the Metro lines within 2 minute walking (tip buy T-10, ten metro tickets, Metro is clean and safe) from where you can reach basically and place of interest in 10 minutes. To get to the hotel take a shutle bus from the airport terminal (I think it goes every 10 minutes, but check), its a nice 15 minutes drive, and it's the first stop, then you have to cross the street and walk 2 minutes towards the center and it will cost you 5 Euro, taxi will cost about 35 Euro. Hotel is located in a safe neubourhood, we walked at night, and it looked very safe. Hotel itself is a modern building. We were greated by a very friendly receptionist, who offered to tell us anything we wanted to know about his city, he took out a map, and showed us everything we wanted to know, and gave detailed instructions on getting there. The room is rather big, and moder looking, with free WIFI. There's a bar downstairs, and mini bar in a room.To make the long story short, everything went very well, and we had great time! The double cost us 73 Euro.

We booked our stay at the B-hotel through Lastminute.com after reading reviews on TripAdvisor and I have to say that we had a lovely time. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The roof top terrace was a nice touch, but unfortunately is quite overlooked by the roof top of the shopping mall, which had a steady flow of visitors.
The location of the hotel was great, right next to restaurants and the shopping mall in the Bull Ring. The airport bus took about 20 minutes and cost 5.30€ (but a 46 (i think) takes you from the airport to Placa Espanya for 1€ but takes longer so we decided against it). The magic fountains were 2 minutes around the corner, but unfortunately were not working due to maintenance. A short walk up to the art gallery up on the hill rewards you with spectacular views.
We did not have food in the hotel, preferring instead to walk up the road to a little cafe near to the Urgell station, called Bella Pan, who did a coffee and croissant for 1.50€ and it was delicious! There was also a supermarket at the bottom of the shopping mall.

If you dont mind moldy bathroom and standard wear and tear, this hotel is otherwise comfortable and good price (good deal if u CAN get under 70 euros). I looked at 4 rooms, all on same floor 6, all had same moldy looking bathroom with worn down fixtures. I was told hotel will be going under renovation soon. Hotel not central but transportation very convenient. Service not overly friendly but polite enough. Go for the price and dont expect so much. Parking really tiny but we have an suv type car, cost 27 euros per day. Big convenient shopping mall .
