Hotel is located in middle of Barcelona which was one of the only things I liked about the hotel. Room was ok but little problems with the room. Stupid things like not shelf in shower to put soap and shampoo. Also, didn't find the staff very helpful.

We lucked out a great deal on LHW for this hotel. All round excellent staff at entrance, reception, checking, restaurant, housekeeping made us feel special. Complimentary chocolates and bottled water and wifi in room with lavish breakfast in restaurant , fabulous location on passé de gracia the equivalent of park ave in ny city, put this hotel on top of the best hotels in Barcelona.

The hotel looked beautiful.

There was a booking mix-up and the hotel were not expecting us until a few days later. We arrived about 9 pm on a Thursday night expecting to be there for 3 days.
The guy on reception seemed sympathetic, and the solution we settled upon was to take the only remaining available room - which happened to be the most expensive suite - with a slight discount. Even so, it was beyond any amount we could even imagine anyone would spend on a room! To this day, we are not sure if they were genuinely trying to help us, or taking advantage of us in our plight.

The suite was lovely - (it couldn't not be at that price).

The roof pool was tiny. We didn't use any other facilities - the hotel seemed rather impersonal.

The location was a quite up-market/businessy part of the city. Posh shops and swanky restaurants, if you like that sort of thing. There was a little supermarket a little further up the road which was useful after spending our life savings on the room.

Stayed here first night of our trip. Arrived early in the morning but he staff was attentive and helpful. Our rooms were ready and they took our bags up right away. The rooms were actually quite large and the shower in the bathroom is incredible. Beds were large and comfortable along with having a great balcony to walk out on. Go up to the 6th floor and there is rooftop with small pool and great views of the Passege de Gracia. Breakfast buffet in the morning was fantastic as well.
