I have stayed here more than once as I like the style and value offered by this hotel. Its right next to Place De Catalunya so in a great location. The boutique style is pleasing and the bedrooms are comfortable with the bonus of free wifi. Lobby bar is elegant and they have live jazz on Thursdays in Feb and March. Nice rooftop bar for the summer as well. Breakfast is a little limited and costs 16 Euros extra, but apart from that Im happy to return here.

Went for my bithday took in game at Nou Camp did a bit of shopping and eating out. Hotel was in an ideal location about 200 Yards from when you get off bus from airport. It was a lovely quiet and classy hotel, hotel bar was good and breakfast was good. It was great value too compared to other cities in Europe.

Really nice boutique hotel. I loved every detail of it, very stylish. Right at Catalunia Square, every public transportation is right there. The lobby, bar and restaurants are beautiful, and so is the room. I wanted to stay there again a few months later but unfortunatelly the price went up a lot! It got to expensive.

We went to Barcelona in part to attend Primavera Sound. When choosing a hotel I considered staying closer to the parc de forum since it would have been less expensive and more of a usual sized room for us spoiled Americans:) I decided against this and chose Pulitzer for its amazing location and modern style. When we arrived it was about 30$ cab fare from the airport. A bus would have worked but we were super exhausted and had a few suitcases. Upon entering the hotel we were both impressed by the decor and as many have said there is definitely a social atmosphere in the lobby. Service was always gracious and even though we tried to speak in Spanish as much as we could, the staff was quick to switch to English when they could see we weren't following them. Breakfast was delicious with fantastic cheeses, meats, and breads. The coffee was exceptional as well. We loved our room for its layout, comfy bed, sleek amd spacoius bathroom and best of all, stellar view. While we were there protestors were camping out in a nearby park. One nights we were walking up the street back to our hotel a line of police with riot gear on began matching toward us and the park at we came from. The doorman to the Pulitzer literally opened the door and swooped us inside. It was exciting to say the least And impressive that ey wer looking out for their guests. This is not to imply that in any way this area is not safe...it is actually quiet. Just know that protestors or futbol can cause the streets anywhere downtown to becomea little crazy. We were able to walk from this spot to the Cathedral, of course Las Ramblas (which a portion of that street is a little sketchy) and Parc de Guell to name a few. We do like to walk a lot though :) If you have a chance to be sure you visit the zoo.
Pulitzer Hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway and gets an A+ from us.
