Our room was lovely with a stunning view to the sea and right across the city from our large balcony. The area around the hotel may initially look rough but it has a lot of charm an provides a real slice of life in comparison to the more touristy areas of the city. The location is actually excellent for accessing any attractions. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English.

Had a lovely time staying in this hotel. The rooms and all the aminities were very clean and kept in good working condition. The room was very comfortable, all that was missing is a kettle, but there is a drinks machine on the first floor selling hot and cold drinks and snacks. The pool and spa are lovely. We had read on previous reviews that you had to pay extra to use the pool, it was all included in the price. You do have to wear swim hats in the pool, they are 2e each. The gym was small, but after walking the city i wasn't going to use it anyway. The staff were so friendly and helpful, every morning we asked questions such as where to get the bus or what number bus we needed, someone always knew the answer. Location is fantastic, the harbour has lovely places to eat at night, we found the buses and metro really easy, but walked back from all areas every day. Theonly down side was, on the last night a group of people in the room next door got back at 4am the doors bang really loud and the noise of their talking and walking in heels along the woodern floor really carried into our room. The breakfast was lovely. We were able to check in early and on the day we left we were able to leave our bags. Great weekend away!

I stayed at this hotel in December... The buffet breakfast is really quite nice, the beds are relatively clean, but the bathrooms in the rooms are disgusting. There were bugs feeling up the wall, grime on the tiles, a broken tap and little bits of finger nails. This was all like this when I walked in. The area is full of grotty flats, graffiti and really dodgy looking people. Most of them were drunk. Not a nice area

We enjoyed the four nights we stayed at this hotel. It was very quiet for sleeping and our suite was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were helpful in showing us different things to see around Barcelona. Metro station was close by and we also found a few restaurants nearby as well. The breakfast buffet offered was expensive but had lots of variety, the spa was small but well-equipped. We felt the room needed an alarm clock. We are used to getting a small fridge and a microwave in our North American hotel rooms, and we missed those conveniences. However, our view from the ninth floor was wonderful and we enjoyed the lights of Barcelona at night.
