We stayed before and after our trip to the Mediterrenean. It was a nice clean hotel, in a great safe location. I will for sure stay back at this hotel. Its near all mayor Barcelona attraction, shopping and some monuments, e.o. Bus Turistica, Las Rablas, Paseo de la Gracia, some of Gaudi Masterpieces in walking distance. We stay there with my husband, daugther of 4 and my self. It's a European Standard 4 star hotel, so I knew what I will get when booking. So nothing to complain and we will definitly stay back.

The Hotel Acta Atrium Palace in Barcelona is in a perfect location for strolling the wide, beautiful boulevards, shopping the upscale stores and viewing Gaudi architecture. For our pre-cruise stay our accommodation was perfect and consisted of a newly renovated large, well furnished room with a small balcony and marble bath looking out on the beautiful Gran Via. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

On the first night we got a room on 1st floor where there was a wall directly behind a window. On the second night we ask for change and it got better but overall not worth to stay longer than a sleep and run away. Do not advise for romatic weekend!!!

The hotel is in a great location with Casa Balto, Casa Mia, Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla all within 5 minute walking distance with good public transport to all other sites.

The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is clean but the only downside would be the overuse of chlorine/bleach which can be smelled throughout the hotel.

Breakfast is delicious which a large variety available.

The staff are friendly and very helpful.

There is also good free wireless throughout.
