“Great hotel shame bout the noise”

Fantastic location. Lovely walk to Sagrada Familia past some lovely tapas ars and restaurants. Bus stop just around the corner (easy to use) and metro stop not far (again easy to use)

Reception staff very friendly and helpful, advising best ways to get to all attractions.

Rooms very clean and very small but with adequate storage.

Only one complaint about this hotel and that is that every morning at 7 O'clock you get woken up by the cleaning staff who talk, drag furniture and generally make alot of noise with no consideration to the guests.

“Basic, clean tidy & value for money”

Fairly easy to locate from airport using Metro and just a short walk from Metro stop to hotel.
On arrival, friendly greeting from member of staff, who provided us with map & information on nearby attractions, restaurants & how to locate by walking, bus & metro.
Compact clean room, however could hear people in next room, above & on landing, which did wake us on a couple of occasions. We had breakfast included in our stay & found this to be continental style & plenty to choose from.

Good location to visit for Sagrada Familia, Hospital Sant Pau, Park Guell, Camp Nou. La Rambla, Gothic Quarter & Port Vell a little further away but found the Metro easy to use.

Overall found the hotel good value for money but basic.

“Good bang for the buck”

A well priced (mid-range) and perfectly located hotel. Each room has a balcony, large bathroom, flat screen and a very comfortable room. The hotel is walking distance to Park Guell (25 minutes) and Sagrada Familia (7 minutes) and a little further down the road you hit Gaudi’s famous houses and La Ramblas (45 minutes). Very friendly staff and free Wi-Fi. Can’t go wrong.

Before we arrived we were a little concerned as the hotel looks away from the centre and is only a 2 star. However this is possibly the best 2 star hotel I have ever stayed in! The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was perfectly adequate (omelette, cheeses, hams, salamis, cereals, fruit, breads, yoghurts, pastries), the room was small but enough space for us to be comfortable, very clean bathroom. As for location, the Sagrada Familia was only 10mins walk away (we were only strolling) and there is a Metro station only 5 mins walk away which is so easy to use to get around the city. All in all this was a great little hotel and fantastic value.
Only negative (and this wasn't a huge problem at all) was the thin walls - if you are a light sleeper then if might be a problem because you can hear everything from the rooms next door!
