Clean, modern hotel. Stayed in a double room that was airy and spacious. No complaints at all about bed quality, bathroom, room cleaning or anything like that, everything was very professionally run and managed. Room was very well soundproofed, so didn't hear any noise from outside. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and spoke English if need be. The hotel is in a quiet area of the city, but there are still some bars and restaurants nearby. It's possible to walk to Placa de Catalunya fairly easily if you want. Otherwise, the Tetuan metro station is nearby, and it's only a few stops to La Rambla and the old city. It probably won't be the cheapest hotel you can find in Barcelona, but represents very good value for money.

We (2 freinds) spent 3 nights in Barcelona and had a wonderful time. It's very nice hotel with friendly staff, at a great location. The room was big and very clean.

We stayed at the hotel for a week in October 2011. It's conveniently located between Sagrada familia and La Rambla, and also two blocks from the metro stop. From the moment we checked in, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, surpassing any hotel I've been to. The room was big, with unexpectedly big bathroom; both were clean. The mattress was quite hard, and a joy to sleep on. The noise from the street could be heard, but was not loud enough to cause problems. Breakfast is really nice, and worth the price (I believe it was 12€; there's substantial discount if you buy it for more than three days).
I have nothing to complain about. If I return to Barcelona, I will definitely stay at the same hotel.

My wife & I stayed here recently after our cruise. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, spoke English and was very helpful. We had a room facing the street and it was very noisy at night. Turns out we were there during a holiday in Spain and if a holiday occurs on Tuesday or Thursday, they also take Monday or Friday off for a 4 day weekend. Breakfast was very good. Fresh baked breads and croissants were excellent. Cost of breakfast is 2 euros less if you purchase it when you check in. I'd recommend it.

Hotel is within walking distance of "hop on, hop off sightseeing buses" and the Metro.

Good value for the price.
