Clean room, nice area on the roof with a small pool and some tanning chairs, nice breakfast but everything tasts like margarine.
Althogh the room was clean it had a strange smell,so we kept the window open and it was ok.
Metro station 3 minutes from hotel door.
Overall- good value for money and very convinient as a travel-base in beutiful Barcelona.

Good location not far from the center and near a Meto station. Quiet area, Rooms are spacious, in the Bathroom there's bath and also a shower. Staff nice and helpful in everything.

We booked two double rooms through the web for the family during the trip, and stayed three nights. The location is very good.
The staff are not that helpful. The room rate did not include breakfast and they charge 13 Euros for each! They charge 5 Euros for the safe deposit key.
Overall - disappointed.

We just left our stay at the Catalonia born september 8 , 2011. My husband and I did not choose this hotel. It was booked by our travel agent. We stayed there 3 nights and could not wait for our stay to be over. The staff is not friendly. Our room was so tiny and bathroom smelled like mildew. Mattress was about two inches thick. Breakfast was not good. Also the hotel is in a terrible neighborhood. There were many drug addicts and beggars. Very noisy all hours of the night.
