So my bf and I were originally going to stay at the W as that is our style and normally we stay there if there is one in the specific city we are staying however I did a bit more browsing and found this place and I have to say, I'm SOOOO HAPPY we did! It's so chic and trendy on the inside and the rooms are cute, on the smaller side but good for a couple or solo. The bathroom was fine and there were Bvlgari toilettries. We also got welcome champagne free (2 glasses) and the 2 guys at the front desk were so helpful with everything! room was very clean and location is great, cabs are super cheap!!! I DEF reccomend staying here, esp if you want a nice place in a good location for a cheaper rate. This was about half the price of W! So glad we stayed, it's also a few blocks from all the shops, had a nice little shop and spa day! Bed was sooo compfy too and there even was a balcony you could stand on. :) STAY HERE IF U COME TO BARCELONA!

Unfortunately I must concur with what many of the other reviewers have said. We stayed here at the beginning of October and, although the location and decor are excellent, we had no water for 24 hours plus WiFi connection was either non-existant or very poor.The hotel staff kept telling us that all would be fixed...so perhaps, by now, it has been, but I would get this in writing BEFORE booking a room. They did give us a small refund for our inconvenience and we found the staff to be very polite in spite of the stress they must have been under. One question: whose idea was it to put a glass door on the bathroom? This is the one room where most people want privacy. It was very awkward when we invited 4 friends to come for a drink.

The hotel is a nice walk away from the central parts of the city and a number of the tourist attractions. The staff are efficient, polite and professional. The room I occupied was at the back of the hotel and was consequently quiet. The room itself was comfortable and conducive for sleep. It was delightful to sit in the breakfast room and look over the roofs of Barcelona - the food was good.

This hotel greatly added to my wonderful experience of Barcelona.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Great staff. extremely modern and clean rooms. Good location for exploring the city from. Close to the buss mstops and metro.

Be aware that breakfast was not included in the room rate and i had to pay extra for that.

i would definately stay there again when I visit Barcelona.
