“We stayed In 7 hotels over the last 2 weeks in 3 different countries, and this was by far the worst one.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 July 2011 via mobile

The hotel couldn't find our reservation, but this was ok since I had the confirmation in my email thankfully. The service was terrible. We called for an iron at 6pm and the gentleman at the desk said they didn't have one only housekeeping did and he didn't have the key to their storage. Then the elevator wasn't working when we left around 7 for dinner. We called the front desk again to ask how to dial out to the operator to make a collect call and the same guy says he has no clue. The stay was 'decent', but if you're looking for good customer service, this isn't the place for you.

“Very close from the metro and train station. The breakfast is too poor and expansive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2011

The facilities are simple but according with three stars. The staff is attentive. The bedroom and bathroom are very small but ok.The biggest problem, is the price of the breakfast. It costs 15 euros per person and it is very poor. The metro and train station are very close from the hotel. If you want to go to the main tourist sight it takes 20 minutes from the hotel by metro. The Plaza de España is about 10 minutes by walk

Really bad hotel, The corridoors no widers then 2 and half feet. you can not drag your bag. Corrridoor ceiling broken, doors bang and donot let you sleep. Rooms small and dingy. Lights were not working in 1007 and no one had clue. director refused to meet. Recetionist Joquinm was bad refuses to assit.
two girls at reception are good at least speak decntly.

i got robbed in Barcelona, No help by hotel i had no money and no passport. To make things worst the wifi on your net does not work and the hotel keeps telling you some problem with your lap top. Our systems are working. Avoid staying at this location. It is better to pay a bit more and stay at little better location. Street gets lonely in the evening. Really bad experience and directo and the gentleman recetionist is bad.

“At €64 / night, very good value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 February 2011

Staff was friendly & helpful. Room slightly run down, small but quite decent at this price; lovely elaborate bathroom tiles and marble; very thin walls and noisy flooring: neighbors' manners crucial. Quiet despite overlooking a busy crossroads. Lovely place for a brisk walk to Passeig de Gracia as well as quite close to 3 Metro stations.
