This hotel is at a perfect location. It is very very close to the train station and to the beach as well. The hotel is decent and the rooms are clean.

We were a group of 4 friends and had booked 2 twin rooms for 1 night.

I would say it is the perfect place to stay when you want an excellent location on a budget.

We stayed for a weekend. The hotel is near metro Barcelonetta and it on walking distance from the harbor en city center. The hotel-staff is friendly en helpful. The rooms are good. Excellent bed. Beautiful shower, with two heads. Overall good hotel for short stay.

My friend and I booked a twin room for two nights in the Oasis hotel for 50 euro each. We decided not to book breakfast as we would be arriving Friday afternoon and leaving too early on Sunday morning to make use of it. Upon arrival we met Raul who was friendly and welcoming not to mention hilarious! We were staying in room 206 and were very happy with it. It was on the small side but, for the price and the fact that we were only using the room as a base, this didn't matter to us and we were very happy with it. It was spotless and the bathroom was lovely containing a shower with two heads and great pressure although you will need to bring shampoo and soap as there wasn't much supplied. The location is perfect with the metro two minutes walk away or a short stroll to La Rambla and the Born district. We needed to leave the hotel at 5.30am Sunday morning to catch our flight so the night manager booked a taxi for us and rang our room when it arrived. Overall, I think it depends on what you are expecting whether or not you're happy with your stay. For us, it was perfect and I would happily recommend it as the ideal base for your stay in Barcelona.

We`ve booked 3 months in advance and by the time we arrived in the airport to take the flight to BCN it was delayed. We`ve called the hotel to announce late check in, they found our reservations and told us everything was ok. By the time we arrived in hotel, things have changed. There were no rooms available, he said, the receptionist, but he sorted it out with a special offer, an excellent 3 star hotel, 2 blocks away. When we arrived in the new hotel, it was the ugliest 2 star hotel, with the smallest rooms and bathrooms. And, Of course, the poorest breakfast.
Next morning we`ve called the travel agency who booked for us, and after one more day in Santa Marta Hotel, they managed to move us back to Oasis. Well, Oasis is an excellent 2 star hotel. Maybe a good 3 star hotel. Large and clean rooms, nice bathrooms, nice staff ( with one exception!) close to main attractions, easy access.
Very good hotel for the price we`ve paid, but I wouldn`t book again, to arrive in that Santa Marta hotel. They have to manage somehow that, I know it was not the first time it happened
